Fulfillment & Inventory Specialist

About the Role:
Sweetpea and Co. seeks a highly organized, detail-orientedFulfillment & Inventory Specialist for our operations team. This role manages logistics for multi-channel sales (retail, e-commerce, wholesale).
The primary mission is ensuring complete customer satisfaction by accurately fulfilling, safely packaging, and timely shipping/delivering all orders. Meticulous attention to detail is required for accuracy and quality, maintaining the Sweetpea and Co. brand experience.
A significant aspect is comprehensive inventory management. The Specialist receives, inspects, logs, and shelves new stock and oversees all outgoing stock.
Fulfillment & Inventory Specialist
Primary Responsibilities:

Order Management: Execute the daily pick-and-pack process for both e-commerce and wholesale orders, ensuring all picking, wrapping, packing, and shipping activities adhere to brand quality standards.

Inventory Control: Manage all incoming inventory, which includes inspection, proper tagging, and storage. Track inventory levels using Trunk software and proactively flag items that require reordering to prevent stockouts.

Supply Chain Maintenance: Monitor and manage stock levels of all necessary shipping and fulfillment supplies, notifying the appropriate party when replenishment is needed.

Work Environment: Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Retail Support:

Provide assistance with in-store retail sales as required. This includes warmly greeting customers, helping them locate and purchase products, and accurately processing all transactions using the POS system.
Qualifications
Core Skills & Abilities:

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and possess strong problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in computer skills, including email and Google Sheets.

Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs, kneeling, and bending.
Attitude & Experience:

Friendly demeanor and a proactive willingness to learn.

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Etsy, and Faire is a plus.

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred, but not required.

Experience operating cash registers and POS systems is a plus.

Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
Compensation and Benefits:

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience.

Job Type: Part-time, in person at our shop
Expected hours:
About 15 hours per week
Full time hours available prior to and during the MN State Fair
Occasional Saturday availability a plus
